MovieFlo.AI Weekly Update: First & Last Frame Features, Veo 3.1 & More!

Mike here with another weekly update from the MovieFlo.AI.

We’re moving at warp speed, and it’s all driven by one goal: to give you the control and consistency you need to feel like a true director. This week, we’ve shipped some of the most powerful directorial tools in the platform to date, including the integration of a monster new model.

Here’s what’s new:

🎬 The Director’s Toolkit: Extract, Edit, and Animate

One of the biggest challenges for professional AI creation is creating seamless, coherent sequences. Our new First & Last Frame workflow is designed to solve this head-on, giving you true shot-to-shot continuity.

Here’s how it works:

• Extract Frame: This is the game-changer. You can now extract the last frame of any video clip you generate and instantly use it as the first frame for your very next shot. This is how you “stitch” your story together, ensuring your characters and environments flow perfectly from one moment to the next.

• Edit Frame: Need to make a tweak? You can now easily open your Start or End frames in our image editor. Add text, make a quick paint correction, or modify a detail before generating the video.

This is a massive leap forward for building cohesive narratives and moving beyond single, disconnected clips. Check out this quick video I made on it here.

🚀 New Model Added: Google’s Veo 3.1

Power needs a great engine. We’re thrilled to announce that Veo 3.1 Fast and Veo 3.1 Quality are now live in MovieFlo.AI!

You can now generate incredible, high-fidelity video with audio, and it’s fully compatible with the new First & Last Frame controls. The cinematic quality is stunning, and it gives you another elite tool to bring your vision to life.

📸 Create from Photo for World-Building

We’ve expanded one of our most popular features. You can now use the “Create from Photo” option for Locations, Props, and Miscellaneous items. Have a specific photo of a building for your ad, a product you want to stylize, or a sketch of a key object? Upload it and let the AI integrate it into your project’s world.

Fixes & Improvements:

We also pushed a ton of other updates to polish the user experience, all based on your direct feedback:

• Vastly Improved Storyboard Shot UI: We’ve continued to refine the layout for a more intuitive and powerful storyboarding experience.

• Smarter Image Prompts: We’ve improved the “Auto prompt” feature from Nano Banana for Storyboard Shots to give you even better starting points.

• Dialogue for Wan 2.5: Dialogue is now correctly included in the video prompt for the Wan 2.5 Preview model.

• Location images no longer appear before Actor images in the “Choose Actors” dropdown.

• Improved Locations generator for more diverse and relevant environments.

We’re building this with you, for you. The feedback from the agencies, post houses, and filmmakers in our open beta has been the driving force behind every one of these updates. Please, keep it coming.
